Description:
For the first episode of Near-field 101 we decided to explore the beginnings of near-field technology by way of an interview with one of the people that was there from the start. Allen Newell has received numerous awards for his more than forty years of service to the antenna measurement community. His insight into the field of antenna measurements is very interesting.

It is amazing! I had the great opportunity to meet Allen in the past (visiting us in Rome - Italy) and through this movie I really felt like meeting him again! Thanks for having created the AMTV

Great concept! Would like to see an overview course on near-field to far-field methods. As a new engineer working in a CATR, it would be beneficial to understand the relationships between the near-field planar data and what we measure in the compact range.

Ed, Now, I finally figureded out the video. That was very good and you take very good picture for the video. Excellent job. If I have any comment, during questioning, it would look better if two of you are on the screen instead of just you.

It is a great way to get to understand nearfield system's background and it's history and content wise, it was informational but I was not able to see the actual video. Looking forward to see 102 or 201.
