The Howland Company (THC) and NSI have been awarded a contract to build several specialized antenna testing systems for Galtronics, a leading provider of antenna solutions for the wireless industry.

The systems will be identical and consist of an integrated chamber/offset arm scanner provided by THC and motor control system and software from NSI. The system design represents a major advance for testing of wireless products. Specialized features include an offset mounted dielectric turntable to reduce truncation effects, false absorber walls with dielectric cross member to minimize reflections, orthogonally mounted linear probes to increase testing speed, and a drawbridge which facilitates test article access.

THC is highly regarded and sought after for their expertise in overall measurement system design and integration, in particular the design of specialty or large chambers with over 50 facilities to their credit worldwide. They have been in business for 25 years and operate out of their headquarters in the Atlanta, Georgia area. THC can be contacted at (678)546-5680, www.atds-howland.com or info@atds-howland.com.
