| DESCRIPTION
NSI’s scripting feature, included with our NSI 2000 Professional Edition Antenna Measurement Software, can be use for variety of applications such as test automation, creating user defined graphical interfaces for your custom features, and extending our software capabilities through interfaces with other COM based applications. An example of how another application can be used to interface with the NSI scripting feature is demonstrated in our Active Test Procedure. This Microsoft Word document can be used to post-process NSI data files and stores the results in test report format. This feature can be extended to automatically perform various analysis tasks and pass/fail criteria determination for specified measurement parameters. |

| CAPABILITIES
With this Active Test Procedure, the user can automatically process and plot test results with in Microsoft Word format. In the left column the user lists the file names for desired processed results. The second column is used to select the beam number (frequency number in a multi-frequency data file) in the data file, or enter 'all', to process all beams and make a plot overlay of the cuts.. At the top of the third and fourth column, the user selects the plot type (h-cut, v-cut, image, contour, 3-D), type of output required (near-field, far-field, or hologram), and finally amplitude or phase for the result. Then when the Process Patterns button is pressed, the active test process will automatically pass the information to NSI2000, generate the desired results, and paste them into the Word table to make a well organized test data report. |
