The NSI-SC-5606-3DZ is a dielectric 4" (100 mm) rotational positioner which is ideal for use as an upper roll (or phi) stage for far-field and CTIA/OTA type measurements. The stage can be added to the NSI-800F-10 far-field antenna test system or replace the upper metallic positioner on the NSI-700S-30 near-field antenna test system.

Supports a simulated (phantom) head and loads up to 25 lbs (11 kg) and includes an integral precision stepper motor. The stage interfaces to a standard NSI 2000 antenna range controller (NSI-SC-5911) and includes a 26.5 GHz rotary joint. A second 26.5 GHz rotary joint is included for the 800F-10 azimuth stage. The axis adds the capability to rotate the Device Under Test (DUT) about a horizontal axis. The stage contains a stepper motor driven belt system for DUT rotation. The assembly is attached to a base support that is designed to mount to the azimuth stage provided with the model NSI-800F-10 far-field or model NSI-700S-30 near-field antenna measurement systems. Six inches (152 mm) of lateral DUT adjustment along the z-axis (manual adjustment) is provided.
