NSI Far-Field Measurement Systems

NSI’s Far-field Antenna Measurement Systems are designed for new installations and/or major upgrades. The NSI-800F-10 is an economical single-axis easy-to-use far-field range with one azimuth stage for taking principal plane measurements. The NSI-800F-20 is a multi-axis far-field range with an azimuth over elevation stage for three dimensional antenna measurements. The systems are configured to test in indoor direct illumination anechoic chambers, compact ranges, outdoor ground reflection ranges, and other types of ranges.

The basis of all  NSI far-field antenna measurement systems includes the following elements:

- NSI 2000 Far-field Antenna Measurement and Analysis Software
- Pentium-based Measurement Workstation
- Antenna Range and Beam controller units
- 20 GHz RX and TX RF cables
- 1 to 3 axes depending on system configuration
- Installation and Training (Priced separately)

NSI Far-Field Measurement Systems Upgrade Path

NSI’s far-field modular approach allows for incremental upgrades as requirements, funding, and schedules permit. This diagram provides upgrade paths for the NSI-800F-10 single axis system to a 3D antenna test system.  The diagram also shows how the NSI-800F-10 can be transformed through incremental upgrades, into some our most popular Spherical Near-field Scanners.
