Ballona Creek trail

The Ballona Creek bicycle trail starts at a small park in Culver City and eventually joins up to the west with the Southbay bicycle trail. The first part of the trail is in run down areas with a lot of grafitti and crime. Near the ocean, the trail improves considerably. For safety, the trail is only open during the daytime on weekends. This trail is 7 miles long.

Finally the trail just turns bland. Fortunately things will improve in a few miles.

This is where the Ballona Creek and Southbay trails merge. If you turn right, you will be heading to Venice and Santa Monica, via Fuji way. If you go straight, you will be shortly heading south toward Redondo Beach. Behind is the start of the Ballona Creek trail.
