Legg Lake includes a number of small lakes. The east side is quite park
like and the west side has several islands with nesting birds.

Other birds often seen here include Osprey, Egrets, Geese, Ducks and Coots.

Looking like a runway for alien spacecraft, this is actually a short connector trail between La River (LARIO) and San Gabriel River trails. It is just South of Legg Lake. The Puente Hills are visible in the distance.
Season: anytime -- Summer can be quite hot, Spring is quite nice.
Difficulty: easy
