Kite surfing is a new, fun and rapidly
evolving sport. The concept is simple, take a large traction kite and
tow
yourself along on a fast moving twin tip or directional surfboard. Much
practice is however needed to make this concept work. Most of the Los
Angeles area
activity is at Belmont Shores, although kite boarders are active at
many other Socal beaches. Here are some photos from a kitesurfing
